White Foamy Angel

Oh, that beautiful foam made out of egg whites and sugar with chocolate ganache on it can take you back in time when you were a child... Back then the cakes were simple and there was just a few kind of sweet treats.

For this white foamy happiness you will need

For the foam
  • 6 egg whites

  • 24 table spoons of sugar

  • less than a 1/2 cup of water

  • a pinch of salt

For the cake
  • 6 egg yolks

  • 6 table spoons of sugar

  • 6 table spoons of flour

  • 6 table spoons of milk

  • 6 table spoons of oil

  • 1 tea spoon of baking powder

Lets try to make a foamy angel...

Make a cake by beating egg yolks with sugar and adding flour, baking powder, milk and oil. Pour it into the pan – 21x31cm(8x12inch) of dimensions and bake it in preheated oven on 200C (392F).

Put the sugar into the bowl, add water and boil it. Take down the heat and let it cook slowly only until you beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Add slowly the hot syrup into the beaten egg whites and whip it fast for 10 minutes.

Cut the cake in half and daub the half of the sweet foam you have made, so put the other half of the cake and repeat the process.

Make the chocolate glaze and coat the cake.
Put it into the refrigerator and cool it before eating.
