Broccoli Side Dish


So healthy and tasty broccoli side dish should be made more often. My husband is not a fan of this meal but my son likes it more. This was the perfect way to make my son to eat this vegetable. If you ask me, this is a perfect side dish along all sorts of meat or soya or just rice and other boiled vegetables. It's quick and simple - everyone can make this!



Ingredients for the side dish

  • 1 healthy and green broccoli
  • 2 cloves of grated garlic
  • 3 tbsp of oil (olive or some other)
  • 2 tsp of salt
Method
Boil the broccoli for a few minutes in water until it gets softer. Try to add a drop or two of milk so the smell of broccoli won't be all around the house. Take it out of the water and leave it on the plate. In the other bowl warm the oil and add the grated garlic to fry it a little bit - don't over-fry it. Add the broccoli in, stir a bit by adding a little water (in which the broccoli was boiled). Put some salt in it and the side dish is done! You can serve it cold like a salad.
