Sticky Nut Cake




Sweetness for an afternoon guest reception. Everybody will be content with this sticky treat that you have made in a short time. It's time for you to give other people the recipe so they could try to make it too.


    Ingredients for the cake

    • 0.5 cup of melted butter and some additional for greasing the pan
    • 10 tablespoons of light muscovado sugar
    • 2 beaten eggs
    • 1 teaspoon of nesscoffee
    • 15 tablespoons of flour
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 175g roughly cut data fruits
    • 10 tablespoons of roughly cut walnuts
    • nearly full cup of hot water

    Ingredients for the sauce

    • 0.5 cup of butter
    • 10 tablespoons of muscovado sugar
    • 6 tablespoons of whipped cream
    • 6 tablespoons of roughly cut walnuts
    • baking pan 18x18cm (7x7inch) dimension
Method
Grease the pan and cover it with baking paper. Gather butter, sugar,eggs, coffee, flour and baking powder in the big bowl and stir it the compound becomes smooth. Insert data fruits, walnuts and the hot water so you can pour the mixture into the pan. Bake in the preheated oven on 180C (360F) 45-50 minutes, until the cake grows and becomes brown and spongy on touch. Approximately 10 minutes before the cake is baked prepare  the sauce: in the little, deep, frying pan put the butter and sugar, stir it and heat it slowly until the ingredients melt. Insert whipped cream and walnuts and slowly heat it again. Cut the cake on equal square peaces. Put them on the plate, pour the sauce on them and serve.
This sauce can be used along with ice cream or some other hot and cold delicacy.
