My Chocolate Baileys Mud Cake


That precious chocolate…Is there anything more delightful than this cake? Chocolate cake enriched with Baileys Irish Cream Whiskey is irreplaceable sweetness for your chocolate cravings. Level of serotonin is certainly going up and say hello to your good mood. The smile on my face is an effect of this chocolate cake. So, eat this chocolate cake, and smile! 



Ingredients for the cake

  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of dark chocolate
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp of cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of Baileys Irish Cream Whiskey
  • 15 tbsp of flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
Method
Melt the chocolate, butter, sugar on a low heat, slowly. Add cocoa and  Baileys Irish Cream Whiskey and leave it to cool for a few minutes. Divide egg yolks from whites and whisk the yolks separately adding the chocolate and all dry ingredients. Whisk the egg whites and gently stir in the batter with a spoon.
Pour the batter in a baking pan covered with baking paper and bake it in the preheated oven on 320 F degrees for approximately 40 minutes.



Ingredients for the frosting

  • 1 cup of melted dark chocolate
  • 2 cups of whipping base
  • 1/4 cup of Baileys Irish Cream Whiskey


Method 
Whip the whipping base, add the melted chocolate and  Baileys Irish Cream Whiskey whisking until the cream becomes smooth and fluffy.
Cut the cake in two and cream it with prepared frosting. Refrigerate the cake until serving.
