Mac and cheese (with a little sprinkle of bacon)

There is so many varieties of this dish so I bring you one of mine. Of course, the tastiest one. :-) You need time just for cooking the macaronis or pasta (any sort you like) and in the meanwhile prepare the sauce. This is a quick lunch and the lunch that you can bring to work. The best thing is that you know exactly what it consists of. The others will be jealous and will ask for the recipe from you. Let this recipe be the trigger to new ideas for this meal, so give your own recipe!

Ingredients for the sauce

  • 3 tbsp of oil
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • a fist full of sliced bacon
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of grated cheese
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of sour cream
  • little bit of pepper

Method
Put the bacon and garlic into oil and saute it a little bit...two minutes or so, but if the garlic starts to turn brown it has been there too long. Add the flour and stir it well. After a minute pour the milk in and stir until thickened. Add the cheese and the sour cream. The sauce is done when the cheese melted. I added a little salt and pepper but if the cheese or bacon are too salty you don't need the seasoning. Taste it and make a decision.
Put the macaronis into the pan of boiling salted water and cook according to the packet instructions. When it's done, serve it hot and sprinkle with parsley.
