Ramsons Salad

Welcome Spring! It's time to start refreshing ourselves with new and fresh salads from the garden. With he first sunshine of the spring the markets are full of nice vegetables for aromatic salads. I have chosen this salad because of my cravings for it. Not to mention the nutrition values. Row vegetables are healthy and have more nutrition values than cooked. Ramsons or wild garlic can be cooked too, in soups or like an ingredient in pottages, and has the mild taste of garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 green salad
  • 1 ramsons bunch
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of vinegar
Method
Wash thoroughly the green salad and the ramsons. Cut them in pieces. Mix them together. Put the sugar, salt, vinegar and oil in a cup and stir it until the sugar and salt melts. You will get a nice dressing for the salad. Pour the dressing over the salad and stir it slightly.
