Chocolate Drizzled Cake

Perfect cake for a birthday party... Chocolate cream between three layers of coffee cake, topped with vanilla cream and decorated with chocolate drizzle and sprinkled with chopped toffee caramel candy. Trust a whole bunch of people at the party, the cake is extremely delicious. Each bite melting fast and gives you an unforgettable chocolaty aroma which brings your serotonin to the higher level.

Ingredients for 1 coffee cake layer

  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp of sugar
  • 8 tbsp of bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/3 cup of warm Nesscoffee

Method
Mix the egg whites in the bowl until firm, add sugar and egg yolks and mix it until it becomes creamy. Add all other ingredients and stir it slowly until it's completely mixed. Pour it in the pan covered with baking paper and bake it on 400F for 10 minutes approximately or until it becomes brownish.

Ingredients for the chocolate cream

  • 3 cups of whipping base
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • 80g of dark chocolate

Method
Warm up 1 cup of whipping base and melt the chocolate in it. Stir it until it's completely smooth. Pour slowly the remaining, cold whipping cream in to cool it down in order to put it in the refrigerator for a few hours.

As the cream has cooled down, mix it well until firm and it's ready for creaming the cake. The next step is assembling the cake - cake, cream, cake, cream and cake. :-) simple as that!
At the end comes the decoration.

Decoration depends on you and only you. I can tell you that instant vanilla topping, chocolate drizzle and chopped toffee caramel candy is a win win combination! Chocolate glaze would be certainly a great coating for this chocolate pleasure but I wanted something light for such a party.
