Holiday Sweetness




Every holiday I get the urge to make a few kind of cakes to indulge everyone's taste and needs. This time was the same, so I have made Yoghurt Brownies, Oatmeal Cookies and Pecan Twist Cake. The cakes are on the table and in every turn to the kitchen my mouth gets full with yummy sweetness. :-) I will reveal the 3 recipes to you in order to show you how easy and fast it is to make some sweetness...




Yoghurt Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of yogurt
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • a cup of melted chocolate
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

Mix the ingredients and bake the cake on 356F(180C) in 20x30cm pan.
When the cake cools down, cut it into pieces and  pour the ganache on top.



Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of rolled oatmeal
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 1/4 warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar

In large bowl combine all the ingredients to for a dough and cover it with nylon to become softer for 15 minutes. Roll the dough into the small balls and roll them in the confectioners sugar.





Pecan Twist Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milled biscuits
  • 1 cup of milled pecans
  • 1 cup of confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup of nesscoffe
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of confectioners sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa

Make a dough out of biscuits, pecans, confectioners sugar and 1/2 cup of nesscoffe and roll it out to 1/8 inch thickness on a baking paper. Beat the butter with confectioners sugar and cocoa, cream it on the dough and roll it in. Keep it in the cold place rolled in baking paper before cutting slices.
