Carob Brownies with Chocolate Glaze


This cake can be prepared very quickly and easy... It's all about mixing the ingredients together, baking it and pouring the glaze on. Simple as that! Carob gives this cake a special aroma that craves for the chocolate glaze, but as people are not all the same - it's possible that your carob cake craves for a fruit glaze. :-) I'll stick with the chocolate one...


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1/3 cup of Carob powder
  • 2 tbsp full of Hershey's cocoa
Method
As I said previously, mix all the ingredients mentioned above and pour the batter into the pan (9x9 inch). Bake the cake on 350 F degrees for about 25 minutes. Cover the cake with chocolate glaze - or some other kind of glaze. :-)
