Simple Cherry Pie

I am always looking for something that can be made quickly and to be tasty just as all those complicated cakes. This Cherry Pie is one of the most easiest recipes of all times, but when you eat it - you really can't stop. Simple yogurt cake with cherries sprinkled all over it can be the perfect dessert in a cherry season which lasts only 100 days in a year. Use these days for picking fresh cherries from the garden and making this simple cherry pie.

The ingredients for the cake

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 tea spoons of baking powder
  • 2 cups of pitted cherries

Method
Mix the eggs with sugar and add all the other ingredients except cherries. Mix the batter until it gets smooth and pour it in a pan (11x13 inch) covered with baking paper. Sprinkle the batter with pitted cherries and put the cake into the oven on 400 F degrees. Bake the cake until it gets nice color. Take the cake out of the oven and wait until it cools. Cut the cake and sprinkle it with powder sugar.
