Oh, those little cabbages called Brussels sprouts are really healthy and tasty. So quick to cook and prepare, this nice side dish, always takes my attention! Any kind of meat goes along this side dish - pork ribs, fish, chicken or even lamb. Imagine your plate with a slice of meat, a little mash potatoes and these little green friends as a nutritional decoration - pretty amazing!
Ingredients for the side dish
- 2 cups of Brussels sprouts
- 2 cups of water
- grated garlic (as much as you like)
- 2 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of pepper
- 2 tbsp of oil (sunflower, olive or some other)
Boil the Brussels sprouts in water for 7 minutes. Take them out on a plate. Put the oil and grated garlic into the pan, fry a little bit and toss it over the Brussels sprouts. Add salt and pepper and the side dish is ready to be served! Simple or what?
