Chocolate Filled Cocoa Sandies

Perfect little cookies for an afternoon snack in a garden. The kids would like them very much. I had to make a double dose to be enough for all of us. Little chocolate chunks wrapped in cocoa cookie dough is anything but not complicated. The recipe I have got from my friend works for years and without any changes. Milk or an orange juice goes very well with those small delicious chocolate filled buttons :-)

Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

My son adores cookies of all kinds but these are his favorites. While I was baking these cookies, he was passing through the kitchen and steeling all those milk chocolate chips so after the fifth turn I had to put them away at safe place to have enough for the cookies. :-) I have learned something... Always buy extra milk chocolate chips for your son. :-) Little pecan cookies with spots of milk chocolate chips can be stored for a week if someone doesn't eat them :-)

Quick & Healthy Breakfast

Just one slice of bread and a little bit of creamy spread is enough for a "Good Morning" meal. You have to start your day with something that you urge for in order to avoid eating it for dessert :-) When the sun comes out and your garden flowers open, sit on a comfortable chair and enjoy in every bite of this extremely delicious and healthy breakfast. You can enrich it with a glass of milk or a glass of orange juice - as you wish.

Pancakes with Strawberries - Strawberry Crepes

I like these thin pancakes. It's always a pleasure to wrap something in those thin round cakes with crusty edges. Sometimes, I indulge my self with pancakes creamed with Nutella or a homemade fruit jam, but from time to time I have an urge to wrap something that could look like the most delicious dessert - this pancake is a perfect example. :-)

Doughnuts with Vanilla and Chocolate cream

Doughnuts are always on my son's wish list. Doughnuts with apricot jam or with Nutella or with cinnamon and powder sugar or with chocolate cream, vanilla custard, or you name it... so practical dessert for every occasion. It takes less than an hour for the dough  and a few more minutes to serve it with anything you have at home.

White Chocolate Chip Cookies

White chocolate is not that lovable like brown chocolate but believe me, these cookies enriched with sweet little white chocolate chips and with some cocoa powder can amaze you impressively :-) Not extra sweet but just as it has to be... Everybody will like these cookies, so mild tasting and nice looking from the cookie box can last for a few weeks or more.

Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dark chocolate is a really healthy blessing for all those who want to loose weight. Choose these dark chocolate chip cookies with pecans to indulge your cravings for chocolate and sweet treats. I have heard that dark chocolate causes less aging but although I think it can be an exaggeration, I would choose these among all the others. :-)

Dusty Minion Cube Cakes

As I was making the Russian Cossack Hat Cakes some cake leftovers turned out on my working surface. I wondered what to do with it and here's the idea... Not bad for leftovers! Sweet little good looking cubes decorated my table just in a few minutes. So, I decided to decorate my blog too, with these small sweet treats.

Russian Cossack Hat Cake

Delicious dessert and tempting cake with white cream rolled in coconut flour and topped with chocolate glaze. Totally cool decorative sweet treat, not too complicated but needs a little bit of time and patience to make it. I have chosen this dessert to be on our table for this Easter and I haven't been wrong. Creamy inside and a beautiful contrast of colors outside shows a perfect combination of taste and looks.

Princess Doughnuts

Irreplaceable dessert for any occasion, so tempting and delicious, crusty doughnuts and fluffy yellowish cream. Sometimes these doughnuts won't come out so great. It is very important for the dough that the eggs are fresh and oven not too hot while you are baking them. This cream my mom made so soft and irresistible. I have seen creams that are really firm so the taste turns out differently. I can say that these Princess Doughnuts are the best!

Norwegian Svele

I was searching for breakfast idea around the web and came across these Norwegian pancakes or svele. I had to try them out to see the difference but I came across a problem - salt of hartshorn (rising agent). OK, I said, I used baking powder instead. So, in my opinion svele has a lot of resemblance with American pancakes and you can serve them with anything you have...sweet or salty, just like pancakes.

Minions Dipped in Chocolate Ganache

These sweet treats are unequaled to me. Very easy to make and relatively fast. You can make them when you cut the edges of the cake to be more exact and then you have some cake for minions. It doesn't matter what kind of cake you have, just make sure it's sweet :-) Try to make these sweet treats and I assure you that everybody would say - It's remarkable!

Quick Biscuit Chocolate Sandwiches

Easy to make and very quick to put on the table when sweet treat is needed. I always have these biscuits in the kitchen because, you never know... Sometimes I fill them with homemade jam - all sorts...fig jam, apricot jam, plum jam.. nutella :-) or some cream I have made. Today is chocolate ganache's turn :-) and it came out just fine and tasty - what matters the most! :-)

Little No Bake Banana Cake

I had an idea to make sweet little cakes to impress my family after lunch. I had one big banana, so I went to my quest for other ingredients. I have found some milled cookies and a chocolate. That was it...I have made this little, no bake cake with chopped chocolate and decorated with vanilla cream and some candied aronia berries. To be honest, it was very fast and easy to make.

Kranzl Cookies Filled with Homemade Jam

Old German recipe for small cookies filled with homemade jam - I like it with plum jam. Somehow  brings me back to childhood when my mum made them so often but always with children's help..so I was there every time. Nowadays, I have to make them myself - no matter, I enjoy it very much! I must say that the taste of the Kranzl Cookies really inspires you to eat more and more. :-)

Pecan Zerbo Cake

Close your eyes, take a bite and enjoy the irresistible chocolate, pecan and jam flavors together. Here comes another bite, and another and so on...I have stopped counting at 3. :-) A little bit sour - jam or a fruity marmalade, much more sweet as chocolate is and delicious pecans invite bite after bite. Put this cake on your table and eat it with joy - not alone, off course! :-) Greatest cake tor parties and gatherings, cut in small bite-sized cake slices, practical and beautifully looking on the table for decoration.

Walnut Rolls

These rolls are taking me back to childhood days. Sweet dough I really, really love...even the dough twists sprinkled with sugar. My grandmother was making great dough stuff. She was a cook in a well known restaurant and she knew all classy and fancy - tasty things to make. I like restaurants with identity, where you can eat only the food and ingredients they are preparing.

Whoopie Pie - Black Moon Cake

So many times I have eaten these sweet little cakes, in so many variations, but I never tried to make them myself. The time has come, and I gathered all my patience and ingredients to do it. There was always a question mark above my head - how on earth, everybody makes so equally sized cakes? The first pan full of cakes was just for laughs - all cakes different sizes :-) OK...I said, let's think. So, I took the muffin pan and the muffin papers and got the good sized little cakes.

Paris Slices

The most romantic place in the world is certainly Paris. Once, someone, somewhere made these slices to look romantic enough to remind of Paris. Pecans, chocolate and plain, sweet cookies are building a divine combination of tastes. Can be a fast, sweet and distinguished dessert after a romantic dinner.

How Muffins turn into Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache

I had to bake some chocolate muffins just to be sure I haven't forgot the recipe. I had a little time and all of the ingredients so the 50% of the muffins was done :-). I have rolled up my sleeves and began to measure the ingredients. I love this very much. Just making cakes and everything that is sweet brings up my serotonin...so, I don't really need a chocolate :-)
