I'm crazy about poppy seed... It's so tasty and aromatic. Can be used for different kinds of cakes and desserts, to enrich the enjoyment in consuming it! So, I have made a few different sorts like - Poppy Seed Cake with Cherries, Poppy Seed Bars, Poppy Seed Strudel and Poppy Seed Crackers.
I have to add to poppy seed collection one more quick and appetizing cake. No more kneading dough and waiting it to rest. Follow the recipe and surprise your friends.
Ingredients
- a pack of frozen croissant dough sheets
- 2 cups of poppy seed
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tbsp of vanilla sugar
- 1/4 cup of milk
Method
Melt the dough and roll it out. Mix the poppy seed with sugar, vanilla sugar and milk in a bowl. Cream the poppy seed on the dough and roll it in. Cut little scrolls and put them into the baking pan covered with baking paper. Bake on 400 F degrees until it gets a nice color.
