This interesting snack can easily be your breakfast or a picnic meal. Any sort of dough can be used to wrap the sausage in... and don't forget to serve it with a dipping sauce. Mustard is my favorite, but there are still people who hate it and choose ketchup over it.
- 3-4 cups of flour
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp of yeast
- 2 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp of salt
Method
Put the yeast in a warm milk with sugar and some flour. Stir it and leave it to rise for 5-10 minutes. Add yogurt, egg, salt and flour while kneading. At the end add oil and make a ball of dough that's not sticky anymore. Leave it to rest for at least half an hour. It will double it self.
Spread the dough on a table and cut a rectangle shapes to wrap the sausages in. Cut the wrapped sausage in a lot of rings like on a pic. Pull the rings on sides like first on one side, second on the other side, and repeat it the same way till the end of the sausage. Put it in the baking pan covered with baking paper and cream it with egg yolk. Bake the hot dogs on 400 F degrees until the color of the dough gets nice and gold.
